Our client is an international payment processing company that delivers comprehensive end-to-end payment infrastructure. They offer services such as payment acquiring, BIN sponsorship, white-label card issuing, and a digital banking platform. They serve a diverse range of clients including merchants, fintechs, and banks around the globe.
As an AML Specialist, you will be involved in the critical task of client onboarding and monitoring, ensuring compliance with both company standards and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for someone eager to make a significant impact in the fintech industry.
Conduct KYC/CDD checks and onboard new clients.
Review corporate structures, UBOs, and client documentation.
Perform client risk assessments and risk classification.
Conduct ongoing and periodic monitoring of existing clients.
Review client activity and identify potential AML/compliance risks.
Request and assess additional documentation where required.
Escalate suspicious or higher-risk cases internally.
Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with internal AML/KYC procedures and regulatory requirements.
Cooperate with other Compliance, Risk, and operational teams.
2+ years of previous hands-on experience in AML/KYC, client onboarding, or ongoing monitoring.
Experience in an acquiring bank, payment institution, EMI, PSP, or another regulated financial institution.
Experience with corporate/B2B clients.
Understanding of CDD/EDD, UBO identification, risk assessment, and transaction/client monitoring.
Ability and willingness to work from the Riga office.
Languages: English C1, Russian C1, Latvian C1.
