You’ll be working in the Compliance and Operational Risk Control, Global Wealth Management Due Diligence Office & Politically Exposed Persons APAC (CORC GWM DDO & PEP) team in Singapore. We are comprised of both Due Diligence Officers (DDO) and our Periodic Know Your Client teams. We work as a gatekeeper in preventing money laundering, corruption and the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT). As an AML due diligence officer, you’ll play an important role in reviewing and approving new account openings.
• bachelor’s/master’s degree or equivalent in banking or a related field
• ideally 4 years of previous relevant experience in private banking due diligence, compliance, controls or audit
• previous work pertaining to wealth management onboarding
• sound practical knowledge of the relevant AML/CFT laws and guidelines in Singapore
• Chinese language skills are of advantage
• adaptable and organized with a positive can-do attitude
• clear and effective communicator, for report-write ups and providing advice
• You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
