Organisation: Leicestershire County Council

Work Location: County Hall, Glenfield, LEICS, LE3 8RA

Salary: £45,309 - £49,407 Per annum (pro rata for part time)

Working Hours: 14.8 hours a week

Contract Type: Fixed term/secondment, initially for one year with possibility of extension

About the Role

As AMHP Learning & Development Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in providing meaningful and engaging CPD training for AMHPs within Leicestershire County Council, and you will identify and support Social Workers through their valuable AMHP qualification.

You will work with the AMHP Team Manager and other colleagues in Adult Social Care to support strategic and operational AMHP needs, and work with colleagues in Learning & Development to develop and deliver learning that is accessible, effective and engaging.

About You

To apply for this post, you must:

  1. Have a full AMHP qualification, including Stage 3, and either be currently practicing as an AMHP or have practiced within the previous year.
  2. Have relevant learning and development qualification or experience
  3. Have experience of managing or supporting staff, including having difficult conversations and coaching
  4. Have experience of representing your workplace, and working with partner agencies
  5. Have experience of involvement in academic social work programmes, e.g. ASYE, PE, etc.
  6. Manage your time effectively, be self-motivated and organised.
