This position serves as the primary business point of accountability for Sales core data definitions, quality standards, and lifecycle processes across regions and systems. The Americas Sales Data Owner partners closely with Sales Operations, commercial stakeholders, Analytics, IT, and the Data Management (MDM) team to ensure sales data is trusted, scalable, and fit for enterprise reporting, operational execution, and future automation and AI use cases. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and manage the business lifecycle for owned data entities (e.g., customer creation, updates, merges, deactivations).
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data definitions, business rules, and lifecycle workflows as it relates to Sales Critical Data.
  • Identify gaps in current data entry and maintenance processes; recommend and implement improvements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales Operations and commercial leadership on data-related decisions.
  • Collaborate with Analytics and Reporting teams to ensure Sales data supports reliable insights and dashboards.
  • Lead training and change management efforts to improve data literacy and adoption of data standards within Sales.
  • Support key business initiatives such as CRM/ERP migrations, acquisitions, and go-to-market expansions with domain expertise.
  • Provide input into data architecture and platform decisions impacting Sales data.
  • Help define and prioritize the Sales data backlog in partnership with IT and Data Management.

QUALIFICATIONS
