What you’ll achieve
As an Americas Environmental Regulations and Standards Senior Principal Engineer, you will help shape the future of electronic materials/component chemistry and restricted materials regulations (RoHS, PFAS, etc.), extended producer responsibility (EPR) regulations and electronic product reparability regulations ("right to repair"). across Dell Technologies’ global product portfolio. In this highly visible role, you will monitor, interpret, and influence worldwide product energy regulations and standards, ensuring Dell’s products remain compliant, competitive, and forward‑looking.
You will act as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert, translating complex regulatory requirements into clear guidance for product teams and leadership. By engaging directly with regulatory agencies, standards bodies, and industry trade associations, you will ensure Dell’s perspective is effectively represented throughout the regulatory development process. This role requires strong communication skills, technical credibility, and the ability to collaborate across a broad range of teams and stakeholders including engineers, product managers, executives, and external partners.

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $138,000 to $190,300.
