Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and supplier management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic, collaborative, and results-oriented teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful sourcing, contracting, and management of suppliers for our projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, quality, and operations), monitor project procurement performance, and support the execution of commodity strategies, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of setting up supplier selection processes and managing supplier contracts, but also support commodity strategies and build strong supplier relationships.
We’ll look to you for:
Setting up and managing the full supplier selection process, including preparing and launching Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and leading project negotiations
Monitoring procurement project performance across quality, cost, delivery, and technical (QCDT) parameters
Ensuring work package sheet commitments are respected and preparing business awards
Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct
Managing supplier contract execution and coordinating projects with all relevant teams
Ensuring on-time delivery and quality, particularly during the ramp-up phase of projects
Supporting the development and execution of commodity strategies, consolidating needs, and providing input to differentiate Alstom in the market
Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, managing supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with Corporate Social Responsibility commitments

Degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field
Experience or understanding of supplier selection, contract management, and procurement processes
Knowledge of supplier relationship management and performance monitoring
Familiarity with procurement strategies and corporate social responsibility practices
A certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a matrix environment with a results-oriented mindset
