We are looking for a talent to become a member of the AME team for the JIT Seating Operations. You will be Working within the AME team specifically on the Industrialization of the 2 projects as well as working with multi-functional departments on the Manufacturing and Process Engineering of the Greenfield project to deliver the complete project to a successful conclusion from the initial design / development phases of the project (Product / process and Equipment design / development), through to the Plant setup (MOST, Line layout, Line Balance etc.) and then SOP and launch

Key Responsibilities:

Process Engineering design and development:

Manufacturing process flow

MOST analysis / Line balancing

• Production / manufacturing design / support

PFMEA (APQP requiremen)

• Ergonomic analysis / H&S

• Lead time analysis

• Plant CAD layouts

Project management (Supporting AME Project & Industrial Engineering Manager):

• Internal Launch Readiness Reviews

• Ensure all AME Standards are adhered to.

Product / Engineering / Quality Support (Cooperation with Product Engineering):

• Engineering / Product / DFM Support

• DFMEA support

• CAD slow build / Virtual build support

• CAD / Product design review / support

Operations Support (With Local plant team / Operations):

• Control plan / EOL test requirement support

• Non production areas support (Maintenance / QA / Show etc..)

• General Operations Liaison / reviews / design

Plant Equipment / Purchasing Support (With AME and Central Purchasing):

• Equipment Specifications

Logistical Support (With Central and plant Logistics):

• Inbound packaging design support

• Plant Logistics flow / layout

• Lineside presentation support

Customer Delivery Support (With Central Logistics and Customer)

• Delivery Pallet Design support (with customer)

Key skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar engineering or industrialization role
  • Strong understanding of JIT assembly processes, including screwing applications
  • Practical experience with PFMEA, preferably using APIS (strong advantage)
  • Background in DFM / DFMEA, slow builds, and product design reviews
  • Operations support experience, including APQP, Control Plans, and EOL test stations
  • Solid competence in process engineering, including process design and development
  • Experience supporting plant equipment specifications, purchasing, and supplier coordination
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with MOST
  • Strong capability in PFMEA / DFMEA / DFM methodologies
  • Fluent English
  • Willingness to travel (app. 50%)
