Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Achieve and sustain Security function performance targets by ensuring a secure, safe, and compliant workplace through effective protection of people, assets, information, infrastructure, and operations while meeting Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Productivity (SQCDP) objectives.
2. Manage end-to-end security operations, including access control, gate management, surveillance systems (CCTV), visitor management, patrolling, incident response, contractor security, and asset protection to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and security breaches.
3. Drive security performance, risk reduction, and resource optimization through proactive monitoring, threat assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to minimize security risks and operational disruptions.
4.Establish and sustain robust security management systems, SOPs, policies, access control procedures, emergency response plans, crisis management protocols, and asset protection measures to ensure operational excellence, business continuity, and regulatory compliance.
5. Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, HR, Projects, Supply Chain, Administration, and external agencies to ensure effective implementation of security requirements, timely resolution of security concerns, and seamless operational support.
6. Implement and sustain security enhancement, digitization, surveillance optimization, cost reduction, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen security effectiveness, operational efficiency, compliance, and asset protection.
7. Promote a strong security culture by conducting awareness programs, emergency drills, security training, employee engagement activities, and contractor education while ensuring preparedness for emergencies, crisis situations, and business continuity to achieve a secure and resilient workplace.

Experience

1. 8 to 15 years of experience in Industrial Security, Corporate Security, Administration, Loss Prevention, or Security Management in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proven experience in managing security operations, access control, CCTV surveillance systems, visitor management, asset protection, and incident response.
3. Hands-on experience in conducting security risk assessments, security audits, investigations, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Industry Preferred

Battery Manufacturing, EV, Automotive, Auto Components, Electronics, Electrical, and related Manufacturing Industries.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university; Degree/Diploma in Security Management, Administration, Industrial Management, or related fields preferred.
2. Professional certifications in Security Management, Industrial Security, Risk Management, Fire & Safety, Loss Prevention, or Business Continuity Management are preferred.
3. Ex-Servicemen (Army, Navy, Air Force), Ex-Police, or Ex-Paramilitary personnel with relevant industrial security experience will be given preference.
4. Strong knowledge of industrial security systems, access control, CCTV surveillance, visitor management, emergency response, crisis management, and asset protection practices.
