Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Achieve and exceed Battery Assembly production targets across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Productivity while ensuring adherence to business objectives.
2. Lead end-to-end battery assembly operations, including cell preparation, module assembly, pack assembly, testing, traceability, and dispatch readiness.
3. Ensure optimum line performance through effective line balancing, takt time adherence, capacity utilization, process control, and production planning.
4. Drive proactive management of manpower, machines, materials, and methods (4M) to minimize downtime, quality issues, and production losses.
5.Establish and sustain robust production systems, SOPs, and operational standards to achieve consistent quality, efficiency, and manufacturing excellence.
6.Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Safety teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely customer deliveries.
7.Develop and strengthen team capability through coaching, multi-skilling, performance management, succession planning, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
8. Implement and sustain TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Automation, IoT, and Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve OEE, productivity, traceability, throughput, and overall production line stability.

Experience

1. 5-10 years of experience in Manufacturing/Production Operations, preferably in Battery Assembly, Automotive, EV, Electronics, or related industries.
2. Proven experience in managing end-to-end assembly operations, production planning, manpower management, and process optimization.
3. Hands-on experience in driving SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Productivity) targets and operational excellence initiatives.
4. Strong exposure to Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, OEE improvement, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Industry Preferred

Automobile Industry, Battery Manufacturing

Qualifications

Degree ( Mechanical, Electronic) , Preferred - Degree Engineer with relevant experience in domain more than 5 years
