AMC Manager
"Lead laser cutting operations through direct supervision of Production Supervisors (AMG Leader), Process and Launch Engineers Manage AMC deployment, aligning daily actions with Quality and Maintenance stakeholders Drive Tier 1–2–3 governance and ensure SQDCM boards reflect accurate data and actions Respond quickly to production risks, engineering changes, or PCP updates Audit and improve process stability (speed, power, scrap, markers) Build leadership culture in shift teams with standard work, visual controls, and action escalation Coordinate root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation (8D, PDCA) Assign resources, assume responsibility, and provide leadership to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (objectives, policies, legal requirements, etc.). Promote active participation of assigned personnel in meeting safety and environmental system requirements. Apply Jidoka principles (stop and notify) when appropriate. Safety and quality issues must be escalated immediately. Critical situations include: Rapid response to machine stoppages or scrap spikes Alignment with last-minute planning changes from PCP Managing process launch readiness under time constraints Leading response to quality escalations and internal customer issues " "Represent the cutting department during internal/external audits Coach team leaders on Tier system, KPIs, and visual management Collaborate with HR on team development, evaluations, and shift planning Support CI/Kaizen projects and provide technical direction to reduce losses Coordinate with Engineering on validations and material/ Process/ new marker introduction"
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s preferred) Minimum 5 years in manufacturing leadership roles, preferably with team supervision and cross-functional coordination
Experience with Autonomous Manufacturing Models is highly valued
