Compensation Range:

$104,000.00 - $140,400.00

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

General Purpose: Maintains 24 hour-a-day accountability for all patient care and nursing activities on assigned outpatient unit. Oversees and directs unit activities including standards development, human resource management, assessment of resource needs and utilization, staff development and communication within nursing practice as well as among other disciplines and departments. Oversees all performance improvement activities at the unit level and participates in committees at all levels within the institution.

Wilmot Cancer Institute is seeking a dynamic Nurse Manager to lead the Gynecologic Oncology ambulatory practice based at Lattimore Road with ambulatory clinics at Highland and Webster. This unique team provides a single point of contact, coordinating everything from initial diagnosis and complex surgery at Highland Hospital to medical oncology treatments and survivorship. This leadership role is responsible for managing a busy, complex ambulatory practice, providing direct oversight of registered nurses and ambulatory care technicians, and fostering a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Success in this position requires exceptional communication skills and a strong partnership with multidisciplinary teams, including close collaboration with our colleagues at Highland Hospital. The Gynecologic Oncology practice has experienced significant growth and is recognized as a leader in clinical trial accruals. The team also plays a vital role in Wilmot Cancer Institute's pursuit of National Cancer Institute (NCI) designation, making this an exciting opportunity to contribute to a nationally recognized cancer program. The ideal candidate is an engaged and approachable leader who is comfortable providing real-time coaching and feedback, making timely operational decisions, and communicating clear plans to staff and partners. Experience leading teams across disciplines, building strong relationships, and navigating complex clinical operations is essential. MSN preferred, required within 5 years.
