The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:
General Purpose: Maintains 24 hour-a-day accountability for all patient care and nursing activities on assigned outpatient unit. Oversees and directs unit activities including standards development, human resource management, assessment of resource needs and utilization, staff development and communication within nursing practice as well as among other disciplines and departments. Oversees all performance improvement activities at the unit level and participates in committees at all levels within the institution.

Wilmot Cancer Institute is looking for a Nurse Manager for our busy Dansville, Myers Cancer Center practice. This practice is located within Noyes Memorial Hospital and provides cancer services to our southern tier patients. The practice includes 6 infusion chairs and 5 clinic rooms. The Nurse Manager will manage a team of approximately 15 nurses and ambulatory technicians who work closely with our front-end staff, hematologists, medical oncologists, surgical oncologist and a geriatric oncologist. The interested candidate will need to foster team development and provide mentorship and growth for our staff. The manager will need to provide real-time feedback, network with peers, and be a strong partner with Noyes Health. Your role will involve ensuring high-quality patient care and operational excellence by standardizing practice and providing excellence in patient care. We are looking for a candidate with a strong clinical background, proven leadership skills, a passion for patient-centered care, BSN require, Masters preferred required within 5 years, and current RN license, with progressive nursing experience.
