Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician – Part Time, 16 Hours, Day Shift

The Pharmacy Technician will primarily support an anticoagulation clinic in Grand Rapids, MI. Pharmacy technician support involves triaging phone calls on a multi-line system, processing patient referrals, scheduling patient appointments and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient medical records. The technician may also be called upon to support additional ambulatory pharmacy clinics as needed, ensuring seamless coordination and continuity of care across services.

What the Pharmacy Technician will Need:

  • High school education or equivalent. Completion of ASHP/ACPE pharmacy technician training
    program.
  • Preferred, completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician certification program; or two years of college with emphasis in math, science, or medical field applications.
  • Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician Licensure (Full license) AND
    Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) National Certification
  • Two years of pharmacy work experience
