Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
Day Shift, 36 hours/week (No weekends or holidays)
Specializes infusion care to patients with neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis and Myasthenia Gravis. This role involves administering intravenous and subcutaneous therapies, including monoclonal antibodies, while ensuring patient safety, clinical accuracy, and therapeutic support. Will administer neuro-stabilizing infusions and monitor for adverse reactions, Educate patients and families on treatment plans and symptom management, collaborate with neurologists, NPs, and medical access staff to ensure coordinated care. Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing experience, Strong IV and vascular access skills preferred.
