Hotel Cleveland is seeking a friendly, energetic, and dependable AM Barista to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. This position requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality coffee and breakfast service to our guests with professionalism and genuine hospitality. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service, has a positive attitude, and enjoys being part of a team that creates memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Barista Duties:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages with consistency and attention to detail
Operate coffee machines, grinders, and brewing equipment
Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized coffee station
Upsell pastries, breakfast items, and specialty beverages
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Server Duties:
Greet guests promptly and warmly in the restaurant or lobby dining area
Take and deliver breakfast orders accurately and efficiently
Answer questions about menu items, daily specials, and accommodate dietary needs when possible
Set and clear tables, restock service stations, and maintain overall cleanliness of the dining area
Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a barista and/or server in a hotel, café, or restaurant preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Schedule:
Full-time and Part-time
Morning shifts typically begin between 5:30 AM – 6:00 AM
The starting hourly wage for this position is between $16 + tips. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
