AMDA College of the Performing Arts, with campuses in New York City and Hollywood, is one of the foremost post-secondary performing arts colleges in the country. Commitment to being an Orientation Leader is vital to creating a strong and successful experience for the AMDA incoming students.Primary Responsibilities:

• Tracking students' attendance on Zoom and in-person
• Tracking progress on Canvas to make sure all assignments are completed
• Encouraging students to attend all seminars and activities
• Be a liaison between the Orientation Team and the students
• Help guide students through their online and in-person Orientation
• Weekly Meetings with incoming students and the Orientation Team
• Attending Orientation seminars and sessions to support the incoming students
• Assist Orientation Coordinator in setting up and breaking down rooms
• Assist in bag and folder preparation for Orientation check-in

Qualifications:

• Must be in good standing with the school as an Alum
• Must be able to lift 30lbs
• Must be able to be on your feet for 8–10 hour
• Knowledge of working with a tablet
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Position Information:

• The pay for this position is $17 hourly
• Will need to wear black pants for all orientation
• The required date for this role is from February 6th - 27th
  • Virtual Wednesday 3rd - 12th
  • In-person June 13th - 26th

The dates provided are when availability is required.
