Build something exceptional with Sportsman Boats!

Sportsman Boats is looking for an experienced Aluminum TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll help fabricate high-quality aluminum components for our boats, including T-tops, rod holders, leaning posts, and more.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:45 PM

What You'll Do

• TIG weld aluminum components used in our boats, including T-tops, rod holders, leaning posts, and other custom parts.
• Measure, cut, lay out, and position materials before welding.
• Read and follow blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication instructions.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet our quality standards.
• Identify and repair damaged or defective welds.
• Work with manufacturing engineers and team members to resolve fabrication issues.
• Use hand tools, air tools, welders, grinders, and buffing equipment.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.

What We're Looking For

• Previous aluminum TIG welding experience.
• Strong metal fabrication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Experience using welding equipment, grinders, and other fabrication tools.
• Strong measuring skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality.
• Ability to successfully complete a hands-on weld test during the onsite interview.
• High school diploma or GED.

Preferred: Previous experience in the marine or boating industry.
