Aluminum Division Head – Direct Hire

Location: Bradenton, FL
Work Environment: Office, Fabrication Shop & Job Sites
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $90,000 – $115,000 + Bonus
Hours: 40+ hours per week
Travel: Yes – Regional travel (Naples, Bradenton, Tampa/Clearwater)

Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with a company in Bradenton, FL to identify an experienced Aluminum Division Head for a direct hire opportunity. This individual will serve as a hands-on leader overseeing both fabrication shop operations and multiple field installation crews.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in aluminum systems, with the ability to manage operations while actively contributing to estimating, field measurements, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Aluminum Division, including fabrication shop and multiple field crews (3–8 team members per crew)

Oversee daily operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Perform field measurements and take-offs for accurate project execution

Assist with estimating, job costing, and project quoting

Manage inventory tracking, scheduling, and procurement (PO systems)

Provide hands-on support in fabrication and field troubleshooting as needed

Coordinate and communicate effectively with crews, clients, and internal teams

Ensure quality control and enforce safety standards across all job sites

Travel between job sites across the Southwest and Central Florida region

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in aluminum fabrication, installation, and leadership roles

Strong knowledge of aluminum systems and some glass/glazing experience

Experience managing multiple crews and shop operations

Ability to perform field measurements and material take-offs

Experience with estimating, scheduling, and job costing

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent leadership and communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading a division or department within a construction or fabrication environment

Background in both shop fabrication and field installation

Familiarity with procurement systems and project management processes

Compensation

Pay Range: $90,000 – $115,000 annually, based on experience

Bonus: 10% of base salary (paid annually)
