We are looking for a highly experienced Alteryx Developer (Finance Automation) with a strong background in Finance & Accounting automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building robust, scalable solutions, integrating with enterprise platforms such as Path, Oracle, SAP, and other financial systems, while delivering reusable efficiency improvements.

This role requires strong ownership, accountability, governance awareness, and the ability to work closely with Finance & Accounts stakeholders to design the right-fit solutions.

Certifications

  • Alteryx Advanced Certification – Mandatory
  • Alteryx Server Certification – Good to have

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Development:

  • Design and develop complex Alteryx workflows and analytical applications for Finance & Accounting use cases
  • Build end-to-end Alteryx solutions including data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting
  • Develop reusable, scalable, and standardized Alteryx workflows following best practices
  • Create and manage Alteryx macros and applications

Integration & Automation:

  • Integrate Alteryx solutions with:
  • UiPath (for end-to-end automation orchestration)
  • Oracle, SAP, and other financial systems
  • Databases such as SQL Server, Snowflake
  • Understand integration patterns with .NET-based applications (development is not required)

Finance & Accounting Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Finance & Accounts teams to:
  • Understand business processes and accounting concepts
  • Quickly grasp requirements and assess feasibility
  • Suggest optimal and efficient automation/analytic solutions
  • Translate finance requirements into robust technical designs

Alteryx Server & Governance:

  • Deploy and manage workflows on Alteryx Server
  • Follow governance standards including:
  • Security and access controls
  • Version control and code management
  • Scheduling, monitoring, and performance optimization
  • Ensure solutions are secure, auditable, and compliant

Project Delivery Lifecycle:

  • Own the complete delivery lifecycle including:
  • Feasibility assessment
  • Requirement understanding and documentation
  • Solution design and development
  • Testing (unit, integration, and UAT support)
  • Deployment and post-deployment support
  • Document solutions, workflows, and technical design thoroughly

Quality, Efficiency & Ownership:

  • Deliver solutions that drive efficiency, accuracy, and cycle-time reduction
  • Take full responsibility and accountability for solution quality and outcomes
  • Monitor and enhance existing Alteryx solutions
  • Proactively identify improvement and optimization opportunities

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Alteryx – Advanced (complex workflows, macros, server deployment)
  • Power BI / Power Platform tools – Advanced
  • SQL / Snowflake – Advanced
  • Strong experience in Finance & Accounting processes

Good to Have / Understanding Required:

  • UiPath – Conceptual understanding (development is not required)
  • NET – Conceptual understanding for integration
  • Experience working with Oracle, SAP, and other ERP/financial applications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder communication, especially with Finance teams
  • Ability to quickly understand accounting concepts and financial data
  • Structured thinking and adherence to standard development practices
