About the Role

iCapital is seeking a driven, high-energy Outbound Sales Associate to join the Alternative Investment Distribution team. This individual will be the first point of contact for financial advisors who are not yet active on the iCapital alternative investment platform. This is a high-volume, metric-driven inside sales role designed for professionals who thrive in a structured calling environment and are passionate about alternative investments and the wealth management industry.

Responsibilities

  • Introduce advisors to iCapital, secure platform registrations, build detailed advisor profiles, log all activity in the CRM, and nurture each relationship until the advisor completes their first trade.
  • Execute 75+ outbound calls per day targeting financial advisors not currently trading on the iCapital platform.
  • Work from prioritized prospect lists segmented by AUM, firm type, and alternative investment affinity.
  • Deliver a compelling, concise platform introduction tailored to each advisor's practice.
  • Guide financial advisors through the iCapital platform registration process from first call to completion.
  • Conduct structured discovery calls to build rich advisor profiles including AUM, client demographics, alternative investment experience, product preferences, and compliance constraints.
  • Overcome objections with a consultative, education-first approach.
  • Identify each advisor's readiness level and tailor follow-up cadence accordingly.
  • Coordinate with internal product specialists to deliver education, webinars, and content that accelerates advisor readiness.
  • Drive advisors through the funnel to first trade, tracking and reporting conversion progress weekly.
  • Log all call activity, contact details, advisor profiles, and next steps in the CRM (Salesforce or equivalent) in real time.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records for every advisor in your territory.
  • Flag high-potential advisors for escalation to Senior Relationship Managers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field
  • 2 - 5 years of outbound sales, inside sales, or financial services experience; experience in wealth management or investment platforms is strongly preferred
  • Able to manage high call volumes in a structured sales environment
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required; must obtain within 90 days of hire if not licensed
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage sophisticated financial professionals confidently
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, Salesforce preferred, and commitment to rigorous data entry
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills and a metric-oriented mindset
  • Knowledge of alternative investments
  • Experience selling into or supporting RIAs, wirehouses, or independent broker-dealers
  • Experience with outbound sequencing tools such as Outreach

The base salary range for this role is $ 70,000CAD to $ 80,000 CAD. iCapital offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes a competitive total compensation package consisting of salary, bonus, and equity for all full-time employees.
