Alberta Infrastructure designs, builds, manages, and maintains government-owned and operated facilities, and collaborates with other ministries to ensure that schools, hospitals and government facilities infrastructure meet the needs of Alberta’s population. The Ministry also provides accommodation services and manages a large portfolio of owned and leased facilities while maintaining fiscal accountability and optimizing value for Albertans.
The Alternative Capital Partnerships is a branch that leads the assessment and procurement processes for a wide range of infrastructure projects (e.g., education, housing, environment, health, transportation) via alternative capital financing strategies.

The Alternative Procurement & Contracts Lead plays a key role in advancing Alberta's infrastructure projects through the assessment and development of alternative capital partnership strategies. This position involves analyzing diverse funding options, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and providing recommendations on partnership opportunities. The Lead is responsible for preparing detailed reports, as well as developing, implementing, and maintaining the Public-Private Partnership Framework, associated guidelines, best practices, and business procedures.
