The successful candidate will collaborate with global stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services while maintaining a high standard of client service, risk management, and operational excellence.

Why this role is important to us:

The team you will be joining is part of Alternative Investment Solutions (AIS), a recognized industry leader in providing fund accounting, fund administration, and risk services to hedge funds, private markets, and other alternative investment vehicles. Join us if making your mark in the alternative investment industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.

What you will be responsible for:

As AIS Hedge Middle Office Fund Administrator, Senior Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitor workflow performance, identify operational risks and control gaps, and escalate issues appropriately while providing timely updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain process documentation and ensure compliance with corporate policies, risk controls, and standard operating procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve complex operational exceptions, ensuring service levels and client expectations are consistently met.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives and client service delivery.
  • Support operating model improvements, projects implementation, migrations, and business initiatives as required.
  • Utilize AI, automation, and data analytics tools to improve operational efficiency, enhance data quality, strengthen controls, and support process improvements.
  • Contribute to team development through training, knowledge sharing, SOP enhancement, and support for succession planning.

What we value:

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

  • Experience in asset management, banking operations, fund administration, or financial services environments.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, operational processes, and risk controls; experience in Hedge Fund services or Middle Office functions is an advantage.

  • Ability to analyze complex information and communicate effectively through clear, concise, and client-ready communications.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new team members, providing day-to-day coaching, guidance, and knowledge sharing to promote consistent performance and development.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with an interest in leveraging technology, automation, and data-driven solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. A Finance background is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Hedge funds service, fund administration or financial related services roles.
  • Experience in client service, operational risk management, exception handling, and stakeholder engagement.
