1. Financial/ Strategic Aim to generate savings due to reduced specific fuel consumption in group cement plants Focus on savings due to increased alternative fuel consumption in group cement plants Benchmark and optimize cement-manufacturing facilities regarding fuel cost Understand regulations directly or indirectly influencing the wastes market; influence regulatory developments in such a way as to encourage cement plant co-incineration Develop a strategy for market selection and conquest based on strength/weakness and opportunity/threat type analyses Take initiatives to drive growth for DCBL and ensure sustained growth in line with long-term and short-term objectives of the organization 2. Relationship Management Management of various external stakeholder interactions and company representation in various events of BEE, CMA, CII, FICCI, etc.; consultations with CPCB, Ministry of Environment and Forest on streamlining new emission rules. Engage in subordinate capacity development through their nominations in various workshops and seminars. Lead and develop site workforce to meet desired requirements, continuously improve operations and promote personal development Negotiate and evaluate contracts and warranties with vendors, in conjunction with other departments 3. Operations Keep abreast of changing environment rules and sensitize all the units for preparedness for new emission norms. Monitor environment regulations and ensure the implementation of the same Lead the monthly dashboard generation for top management on alternative fuels Be an active member of CMA technical committee and member of BEE PAT KEP sector learning group for Cement Provide documentation on the BU's strategic review of waste issues, as well as on the PIPs and the planning cycle performance plans. Validate reporting on the activity. Set up a client-oriented structure for co-incineration (chemical analyses, scheduling, management and administration of materials acceptance, including refusal) Aim towards increased use of green fuels for manufacturing processes to ensure minimal environmental impact Ensure initiation and sensitization of the employees towards digitization and automation of the processes Focus on utilization of advanced business analytics tools to derive key insights critical for the success of the organization 4. Self/ Team Development Review and monitor performance of team members� and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs Recommend training as required for team�s development Develop the team and update their knowledge base to cater the organization need Strategize avenues for enhancing employee satisfaction in the function, resulting in high engagement levels of employees
