Job Title: Alternate Cook (Backup Cook) Job Type: Part-Time / On-Call Location: Tokyo, Japan
We are seeking experienced Backup Cook who can provide coverage when the primary cook is unavailable due to leave, illness, training, or other circumstances.
Minimum Requirements The candidate shall have at minimum:
Three (3) years of professional cooking or food service experience.
Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen sanitation practices.
Basic conversational English.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to pass a background screening process.
Duties and Responsibilities The candidate must:
Perform all duties of the primary Cook when assigned.
Prepare meals according to approved menus.
Package and label meals appropriately.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Follow all food safety requirements.
Support uninterrupted meal service operations.
Coordinate with management regarding schedule availability.
