Job Description

As the  PMO Handbook Digital Experience Designer Trainee, you will be fully integrated within the  GSI PMO Central Team, working alongside a team of highly experienced Project Directors and Project Engineers.

Your mission will be to  design and develop the GSI PMO Digital Handbook, ensuring it delivers the best possible user experience for project teams across the globe.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding user needs — Engaging with Project Directors and Project Managers based in  India and Europe to capture their requirements and expectations for the handbook
  • Designing the navigation — Defining the most intuitive and user-friendly navigation structure to guide project teams through every phase and step of project execution
  • Building the digital tool — Developing the handbook on  SharePoint, leveraging the existing document library (training will be provided)
  • Incorporating PMO processes & best practices — Working closely with the PMO Central Team to ensure all relevant processes, documentation and best practices are accurately captured and structured
  • Quality & validation — Continuously verifying throughout the development process that the handbook meets the requirements and expectations of project management teams
  • Stakeholder management — Maintaining regular communication with senior stakeholders across multiple regions and cultures

  • Deep understanding of  HVDC Large Projects execution and  PMO best practices
  • Exposure to  international project management at the highest level (+$1B contracts)
  • Hands-on experience working with  senior Project Directors across India and Europe
  • Practical experience in  digital tool design and  UX thinking
  • Development of  cross-cultural communication and  stakeholder management skills

Skills required

Strong understanding of PMO processes and project management methodologies

Fluent in English — mandatory (written and spoken, working language for all interactions)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

SharePoint knowledge is a plus but not required — training will be provided

undefined Basic awareness of UX/UI principles is a plus

Training

Desired level of study/degree prepared: Currently enrolled in Year 4 or Year 5 of a Business School or Engineering School
