Dans le cadre de la prévention des risques EHS, nous recherchons un(e) alternant(e) pour accompagner les équipes à diminuer l’impact environnemental du site et à prévenir des risques liés à l’utilisation des produits chimiques.
L’alternant travaillera sur la prévention de tout rejet de SF6 dans l’air. Le SF₆ est le plus puissant gaz à effet de serre, il est utilisé comme gaz isolant dans la fabrication des postes électriques sous enveloppe métallique.
Les produits chimiques utilisés sur site représentent des risques pour la santé des collaborateurs et pour l’environnement. L’alternant(e) participera activement à l’amélioration continue des pratiques de gestion des substances chimiques et à la maîtrise des expositions professionnelles.

Reasons/Context for Recruitment:
As part of our EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) risk prevention efforts, we are seeking an apprentice to support our teams in reducing the site's environmental impact and preventing risks related to the use of chemicals.
The apprentice will work on preventing any SF6 emissions into the air. SF6 is the most potent greenhouse gas and is used as an insulating gas in the manufacture of metal-enclosed electrical substations.
The chemicals used on-site pose risks to employee health and the environment. The apprentice will actively participate in the continuous improvement of chemical management practices and the control of occupational exposures.
Missions/Tasks:
Environment Focus – Insulating Gases & Chemicals
• Implement a SF6 loss reduction plan
• Conduct monthly SF6 loss assessments and implement a loss assessment for a new insulating gas
• Participate in improving chemical storage practices (containment, compatibility, labeling)
Industrial Hygiene Focus – Chemical Risk
• Contribute to updating the chemical inventory
• Participate in the chemical risk assessment process (CRA)
• Analyze Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and identify appropriate preventive measures
• Raise awareness among teams regarding best practices for handling chemical products
Specific Skills Required:
• Proficiency in IT tools: Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, SharePoint
• Basic knowledge of environmental regulations and chemical risk
• Data analysis and monitoring skills Indicators
• Interest in topics related to the environmental transition and industrial decarbonization

Required education level:
• High school diploma (or equivalent, currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree through a work-study program)

A degree preparing for a career in HSE, such as a Bachelor of Technology (BUT) in Health, Safety and Environment, a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Risk Management or HSE, or an engineering degree in Risk Management and the Environment
