Position Summary
You will join GSK France’s Public Affairs and Communications team for a 12-month alternance based at our Rueil-Malmaison office. You will support both public affairs and communications work, helping with research, stakeholder mapping, content creation and event support. We value clear writers, curious analysts and proactive team players who learn by doing. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Monitor and analyse the French political and regulatory environment and produce concise synthesis notes.
- Create and keep up-to-date stakeholder maps for institutional and health ecosystem actors.
- Draft and edit internal and external communications: articles, social posts and short briefing notes.
- Support organisation of institutional events, site visits and external meetings.
- Help collect and share strategic intelligence to inform team decisions.
- Contribute to project work with external partners and support rollout of engagement plans.
Responsibilities
You will work closely with colleagues across communications, public affairs and the wider France team. Day-to-day tasks include research, drafting, editing, audience mapping, meeting preparation and campaign support. You will learn to balance speed and accuracy while protecting confidential information. You will join project teams and gain exposure to cross-functional and European stakeholders when relevant.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
- Currently enrolled in Master 1 or Master 2 (Bac+4/5) in communication, public affairs, political science, law, health economics or a related field.
- Strong written French and clear drafting skills for notes and communications.
- Good understanding of French institutions and decision-making processes.
- Comfortable with social media basics and digital communication formats.
- Able to work independently, take initiative and manage priorities.
- Fluent in French; professional working knowledge of English (read/write).
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus
- Prior internship or experience in public affairs, communications or public policy.
- Experience with stakeholder mapping tools or CRM systems.
- Basic visual content skills (newsletters, infographics) or familiarity with design tools.
- Good MS Office skills, including Excel for tracking and basic analysis.
- Interest in health policy, health economics or industrial policy.
- Experience working in project teams and supporting events.
Working arrangements
This role is primarily on-site at our Rueil-Malmaison office with hybrid working possible as agreed with your manager. The alternance is for 12 months and follows the rhythm defined by your school.
