YOU WILL BE:

As an Alternations Associate, you will satisfy customer requests and expectations for fit. Alterations, resizing and restyling of all merchandise retailed in stores. Assist sales associates in achieving their goals with professional assistance with fit, alterability and structural quality of apparel merchandise.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Perform expert alterations and tailoring on a variety of garments, ensuring fit, quality, and finish meet company standards.

• Conduct fittings with clients, providing professional recommendations for adjustments to achieve the desired look and fit.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area, handling garments with care and attention to detail.

• Collaborate with sales associates and managers to support customer needs, ensuring timely completion of alterations.

• Track and manage alterations workflow, meeting deadlines while upholding service and quality expectations.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Vocational training in alterations. Experience in an alteration operation or industrial environment that offers exposure to a variety of garments styles and types of fabrics is ideal.

• Experience as a sewing machine operator is important.

• Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and sewing techniques.

• Ability to perform precise fittings and provide expert recommendations to clients.

• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to craftsmanship and quality.

• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

• Customer service orientation with strong communication and collaboration skills
