AltaGas - Operator 4, Slave Lake

Are you seeking an exciting new opportunity to be part of a great team? Enerchem Interational Inc., an AltaGas company, is seeking a Plant Operator for our Hydrocarbon Fractionation Plant in beautiful Slave Lake, Alberta! The successful candidate will work a seven-on, seven-off rotation schedule, 12 hours per shift, including days and nights.

Please note that this is not a camp-based role. The successful candidate must reside in the Slave Lake area. Preference will be given to those currently local to the area.

You Will:

• Plant log / chemical log without supervision
• Weekly / Monthly maintenance without supervision
• Sample collection without supervision
• Able to do all labs without supervision
• Adjust chemical flow rates
• Chemical pump trouble shooting
• Assist with LOTO and Confined Space packages
• Understanding of tower separation to all products (OH, Wax, Frac, Drill, Heavies.)
• Able to perform PSV carseal checklist
• Exchanger flow 2.1 – 2.5 / A Tube and shell + Desalter
• Training for trucking paperwork
• Understand heat exchange piping and flow
• Perform Desalter Mud-wash
• Vast knowledge of tank numbers and product
• Independently put products into production
• OH Condenser flow to reflux drum and reflux to tower / Superlites (FIC 5 / LIC 5)
• Jet particulate / clay filters
• Jet reboiler tube / shell + TIC 7 and heavies return
• Wax reboiler tube / shell + TIC 6
• Drill reboiler + return
• Pump-around system
• Filter changed / cleaning (Water-boot, y-strainers, C100, etc..)
• Putting Plant into recycle / production
• Blend cooler to 111/112 / LACT
• Tank dipping if required
• Setup rainmaker system / Winterize
• Knowledge of chemical injection points
• Transmitter flushing
• How to switch between RMG 380 and EB Crude modes
• Begin Plant Championing (subject to be determined)

You Have:

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED required.
