The Central Alberta Midstream Operations team is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant based out of the Edmonton Ethane Extraction Plant (EEEP) Reporting to the Central Alberta Operations Manager, this role provides administrative support across multiple facilities, including Edmonton, Joffre (JEEP), and Fort Saskatchewan.

In this role, you will play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly—supporting day-to-day office functions, coordinating across sites, and ensuring administrative, financial, and operational processes are completed efficiently and accurately.

You Will:

  • Maintain proficient and seamless operation of the Edmonton Ethane Extraction Plant (EEEP) office
  • Provide remote admin support for the Joffre (JEEP) facility and work in collaboration with the Fort Saskatchewan admin team when assistance is required
  • Manage Site Access at the EEEP facility -> Greeting staff / visitors and answering calls
  • Provide Accounts Payable Support: Reviewing, coding, and forwarding invoices for
  • Central Alberta Facilities
  • Provide Purchasing support: Creating requisitions, submitting change orders, blanket
  • PO's, receiving items, following up on approvals to ensure items are processed in a timely manner
  • Shipping and Receiving: Receiving goods from couriers for the field and sorting
  • Cost Tracking: Tracking PO costs, invoices and month end accruals
  • Safety Clothing: Ordering and tracking coverall and safety clothing orders
  • Schedule training courses for personnel as required
  • Ensure Monthly HSE KPI’s are tracked and uploaded for reporting purposes
  • File and upload monthly PM’s (i.e., fire extinguisher checks, quarterly Car Seal, safety checklist etc.)
  • Utilize Compliance software to generate required reports and upload operations documents for staff review and acknowledgement

You Have:

  • Minimum grade 12 education; some post-secondary training considered an asset
  • 3 years plus Oil and Gas experience
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Microsoft Office program training
  • Office Administration and customer service experience
  • Excellent computer & customer skills
  • JDE & Maximo experience would be an asset

Where you’ll be working:

This position is located at our office in Edmonton Alberta. The Edmonton Ethane Extraction Plant (EEEP) is located within the city limits in south Edmonton, Alberta. EEEP is a gas extraction straddle plant with a gross production capacity of 23,000 Bbls/d of specification ethane and 7,500 Bbls/d of natural gas liquids (NGLs). It is connected to several pipeline systems, which provides the opportunity for valuable liquids such as ethane, propane, and butane to be processed for commercial and industrial use.
