About the Role

Are you looking to build your finance and accounting experience in a dynamic industry? As a Midstream Finance Co-op Student, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience supporting key finance and accounting functions within AltaGas' Midstream business. Through meaningful projects and day-to-day responsibilities, you'll develop your analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills while gaining valuable insight into how finance supports business decisions in the energy industry.

What You'll Do

• Support a variety of finance and accounting activities across AltaGas' Midstream business.
• Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and month-end accounting processes.
• Help prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial documentation.
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances and trends.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Commercial teams to support business objectives.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects.

What You’ll Bring

• Currently enrolled in your 2nd or 3rd year of an undergraduate degree program in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Proficient in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
