About the Opportunity

We're looking for an ALM Outbound Supervisor to join our Truganina, VIC team.

In this leadership role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and effective execution of outbound logistics operations. You'll lead a high-performing team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, support transport and distribution activities, and deliver exceptional service outcomes for our customers.

Working closely with the Warehouse Operations Manager, State Transport Manager and key stakeholders across the business, you'll play a pivotal role in improving service, safety, cost performance and operational efficiency.

In This Role

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing outbound operations team
  • Coordinate daily outbound activities to ensure service and productivity targets are achieved
  • Act as the escalation point for customer service enquiries relating to outbound deliveries and logistics operations
  • Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OH&S, HVNL and Chain of Responsibility requirements
  • Drive DIFOT performance and customer delivery outcomes
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across transport, warehousing and distribution operations
  • Support and lead logistics projects from planning through to implementation and review
  • Monitor operational performance metrics and implement corrective actions where required
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service, Procurement, IT, Sales and Finance teams
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of TMS, WMS, ERP and freight management systems
  • Manage pallet control initiatives and contribute to achieving budgeted commercial outcomes
  • Provide operational reporting and performance updates to leadership teams

You're Likely a Match If

  • 5+ years' experience in logistics, transport, supply chain or distribution operations
  • Proven experience leading teams within a warehouse, transport or FMCG environment
  • Strong understanding of outbound logistics, freight and transport operations
  • Knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation
  • Experience working with Transport Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management and continuous improvement experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
  • Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements within logistics environments
