Your mission

As Allround Maintenance Technician you are responsible for the maintenance, analysis & repair and improvement of all new equipment from world-leading OEMs such as Vemag, JBT, Fuji Packaging, and Sealpac in our factory. you ensure zero breakdown analyses, resolve and secure faults, and perform preventive maintenance across the following disciplines: control systems, electrical, refrigeration technology, processing/packaging, control engineering, pneumatics, and mechanics within Redefine Meat Factory in Best.

Tasks are:

• Plan & execute planned maintenance: mechanical, electrical, sensors, programs, utilities and building to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment as needed.
• Managing & maintaining an adequate inventory of spare parts and supplies.
• Leading & participating in new equipment installation and start-up activities.
• Ensuring compliance with, & identify improvement areas on, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Identifying and reporting potential safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
• Participating in training and development activities to improve skills and knowledge for own development
• Train operators and Jr Maintenance Technicians in machinery, facilities and supporting equipment
• Use and Improve in Maintenance Management System: updating maintenance plan and program, and reporting activities.
• Collaborate and initiate with production, engineering & R&D teams to develop and implement continuous improvement projects.
• Assist, advice and instruct operators and colleagues.
• On-call duty.

What you'll bring

We are looking for:

• Electrical or/and mechanical training with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, affinities with food industry is a pré.
• NEN 3140 P is a big pré.
• Education level of MBO 3/4.
• Possess analytical, logical, and creative thinking skills with a solutionoriented mindset.
• Able to read and comprehend technical documents.
• Knowledge of HACCP is a pré.
• Interest in TD processes and maintenance systems.
• Proficiency in Dutch and/or English, both spoken and written.
• Fluent in communication, including speaking, reading, and writing, in either Dutch and/or English.
• Right now we work in a time window between 6:00h and 18:00h but in the future this might change.
