Help build the production of tomorrow at ABB

For our site in Ede, we are looking for an Allround Toolmaker who plays a key role in ensuring our production processes run smoothly.

Your role

As a toolmaker, you ensure that our production tools are always available, accurate, and reliable, so that the production process can run optimally.

You will be part of the tool shop/technical service team within the operations organization, working closely with production and other technical disciplines.

Your responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on molds (independently or together with external partners)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with production tools
• Manage and keep mold drawings up to date
• Independently order small technical materials
• Work in line with ABB’s safety and quality standards
• Be broadly deployable within the tool shop/technical service department

Your profile

• Experience in a technical environment with machinery
• Broad knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and preferably electrical systems
• Independent, accurate, and responsible
• Flexible and solution-oriented
• Strong team player with good communication skills
• Eager to learn and proactive

Your work environment

Within the Electrification division, we produce plastic installation solutions in Ede for residential and commercial construction—such as boxes and cabinets essential for safe electrical installations.

Our production runs in a 3-shift system and is highly automated. Reliable tooling is crucial here—and that’s where you make the difference.
