Allocator Intern

The Team

The PVH Southeast Hub is responsible for driving the growth and development of Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein across emerging markets, including Italy, Turkey, Greece, the Middle East, Africa, and the CIS region. The Hub operates in a diverse and dynamic environment, fostering collaboration across multiple countries and cultures, while focusing on strengthening market positioning and building strong partnerships across teams and stakeholders.

The Position

Junior Allocator is accountable for in-season merchandise management and inventory monitoring, store transfer management, pricing strategy implementation and data analysis and reporting to support the continuous growth and success of PVH Turkey within targets and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

In-Season Merchandise Management and Inventory Monitoring:

  • Assist in managing in-season goods by ensuring timely monitoring of merchandise releases from the central warehouse to local warehouses and then to stores.
  • Track and analyze inventory levels to ensure stores are adequately stocked with the appropriate merchandise.
  • Collaborate with store managers to understand specific merchandise needs and adjust allocations as needed.

Store Transfer Management:

  • Support the management of transfers between Full-Price (FP) stores to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Help manage and execute transfers from the Clearance warehouse to Outlet stores, understanding the specific requirements for each product group/store.

Pricing Strategy Implementation

  • Assist in implementing a precise Markdown strategy in the Clearance Outlets, aiming to standardize prices for items within the same categories/programs.
  • Help address price volatility due to inflation and exchange rate fluctuations by supporting consistent pricing strategies.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Prepare and present basic reports on inventory levels, transfer activities, and pricing effectiveness to senior management.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to assist in forecasting inventory needs.

Merchandising Operations:

  • Manage the implementation of markdown updates in till and labelling systems, ensuring operational continuity and system accuracy during sales campaigns.
  • Oversee system-based shipment processes and provide timely support to store teams to ensure smooth operational execution.

Requirements:

  • 3rd or 4th year university student in related fields
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze data.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to work.
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to work effectively with data and spreadsheets.
  • Interest in and enthusiasm for working in a retail environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and store teams.
  • Available to work preferably a minimum 3 days in a week (6 Month)
