Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Allocator / Coordinator, Customer Service is responsible for managing a designated portfolio of retail accounts within specific product categories, ensuring product is allocated, ordered, shipped, and delivered accurately throughout the merchandise lifecycle. Acting as the primary operational contact for their assigned account base, this individual works closely with Order Management, Supply Chain Operations, Compliance, and Distribution Center teams to ensure customers receive the right product at the right time.

This role requires strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities across assigned retailers. Success depends on proactive communication, real-time problem solving, and frequent collaboration with cross-functional partners. Because many decisions and issues require immediate coordination among internal stakeholders, regular in-office attendance is an essential component of the role. The position follows a hybrid schedule of Monday through Thursday in the office and Friday remote, subject to business needs.

  • Manage purchase orders from initial bulk allocation through the end of the merchandise life cycle, including daily review, maintenance, and release of sales orders, shipment follow-up, and reverse logistics.

  • Track production through receipt in the distribution center, coordinating in real time with operational partners to address issues as they arise.

  • Create and manage the work order process to ensure customer floor-ready requirements and overall retail compliance are met.

  • Review orders daily on an exception basis across all product flow streams and modify as necessary.

  • Ensure all electronic transactions (EDI) are sent and/or received, with immediate follow-up on errors or delays.

  • Review daily shipments to ensure proper invoicing and frequent verification of order accuracy.

  • Communicate daily with the Order Management Manager and warehouse counterparts to review customer delivery issues, including participation in in-person operational discussions.

  • Review operational chargebacks with the Compliance team.

  • Manage overall system data integrity, with a primary focus on sales orders.

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–3+ years of experience in allocation, customer service, order management, supply chain, inventory planning, logistics, or a related operational role preferred.
  • Allocation experience within the Apparel, Accessories, Footwear, or other consumer goods industries is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills required.
  • Experience working with ERP and EDI systems; SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal partners and retail customers.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of accounts, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where priorities may shift frequently.
  • Strong follow-through and sense of ownership, with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact customers.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and business concepts.
  • Proven time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to effectively manage competing demands.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment that requires regular in-office attendance and cross-functional partnership.

In return, we provide an industry-competitive salary, along with a comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision) that includes a matching 401(k), Summer Fridays, generous PTO, merchandise discounts, excellent career development opportunities, and a work environment that reflects our industry leadership. Our social impact program, Centric Cares, focuses on volunteerism to make a difference in communities we live and work in and our D&I committee is shaping the future of diversity, equity and inclusion at Centric Brands though workshops, resources and inspiring conversation.

The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process.
