We have an exciting opportunity for an Allocator to join our Concrete Contact Centre in North Ryde. In this challenging role, you will coordinate the dispatch, utilisation and timely delivery of our Concrete trucks. Your forward-thinking approach will contribute to your success in planning our driver schedules in line with customer orders.

This role will suit a strong problem solver who has their finger on the pulse. You will possess the ability to think on your feet and have a superior customer service ethic.

The successful candidate will be provided with the opportunity to work between our operating hours of 6am-6 pm Monday to Friday and a rotating Saturday from 6- 2pm. Full training will be provided on our processes and systems.

Your day will involve:

  • Manage orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Work with team members & Production to maximise service
  • Ensure Drivers are kept up to date on job requirements and daily schedule
  • Notify stakeholders of deviations to schedule or late delivery
  • Comply with driver Fatigue management, statutory requirements and company health & safety
  • A keen eye for detail

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in scheduling or dispatch in real-time preferred
  • Demonstrated customer service and solution focused mindset
  • Proficiency with navigating multiple systems
  • Well-developed problem solving and prioritization skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and work in a high-pressure environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
