We are seeking senior allied health professionals with experience in clinical leadership, complex case management, assessment, counselling and/or therapy, and within mental health or relevant/related sector would be ideal. You would be working within a well-supported, innovative, diverse multidisciplinary team to provide developmentally appropriate treatment with young people, and their families.
Our Aim:
The Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) in Tasmania is growing! We are seeking passionate and dedicated Lead Practitioners to provide clinical services to young people and their families/significant others experiencing mental health concerns. The positions available are within our new teams which are currently being developed as initiatives under the CYMHS reform program (Youth, Youth Forensic- Divert and Connect, Out of Home Care). The Divert and Connect program is in the early stages of development and implementation. You will have the rare and exciting opportunity to be a part of a new team, establishing the program, evaluation and research opportunities. This program is outreach based and will be working in collaboration with other services within the North of the State and with the University of Tasmania.
The Lead Practitioner will have a passion for providing a person-centred approach and working within a multidisciplinary team environment, providing high level clinical leadership to the team.

Details of Appointment
One permanent full time day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Salary: $123,717- 134,336 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
