Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is the major health provider in the Central Hume region with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.
NHW’s busy Emergency Department is seeking a casual Grade 3 Allied Health Practitioner to work within a multidisciplinary team. This role provides assessment, intervention and care coordination for patients presenting to the Emergency Department, with a focus on supporting timely and safe discharge or admission.
The successful applicant will work closely with medical, nursing and allied health teams, as well as community services, to identify and coordinate the supports patients need. The role provides an opportunity to work collaboratively across Northeast Health Wangaratta and with external service providers while continuing to develop clinical skills and knowledge.
