Bayside Health is a public health service delivering high-quality care across every stage of life for close to 1.2 million people living in metropolitan Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula, Koo Wee Rup, Bass Coast and Southern Gippsland. We have more than 15 main sites, including hospitals, centres and clinics that provide comprehensive care from welcoming newborns to supporting older people and a full range of services in between. The Department
Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) work collaboratively as part of effective teams alongside doctors, nurses and other professionals to provide holistic person-centred care. AHPs are qualified to provide interventions to optimise and maintain the physical, social and mental wellbeing of the community.

We are Art Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Dietetics, Disability Liaison Officers, Music Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Orthoptics, Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Prosthetics & Orthotics, Psychology, Social Work, Speech Pathology & Language Services, and Spiritual Care, as well as Allied Health Assistants.
The Role
The Allied Health workforce is supported by the Allied Health Professional Practice Framework pillars: People, Wellbeing & Leadership Development, Research, Credentialing & Scope of Practice, Education & Training, Quality Improvement & Safety, and Digital Health.
The Allied Health Digital Health Lead will work with the Chief Allied Health Informatics Officer (CAHIO) to support engagement of Allied Health clinicians in EMR workflows and other Digital Health programs focusing on delivering safe, timely, quality patient care.
The Allied Health Digital Health Lead will have strong informatics skills and help build a strong culture of evidence-based practice and continuous improvement practice across the allied health workforce.
