
St John of God Bendigo Hospital is a 122-bed contemporary private hospital located in central Victoria providing high quality acute medical and surgical health care services for people in Bendigo and surrounding areas.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working 30.4 hours per fortnight.
You will work closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, providing both clinical and administrative support to assist with the delivery of quality patient care.
The role includes regular weekend shifts, so we are looking for someone who has the flexibility to work weekends as part of their roster.
As an Allied Health Assistant (Grade 2), you will hold a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent. You will bring highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals in a sensitive, professional and empathetic manner.
You will have strong organisational and time management skills, enabling you to manage your workload effectively and respond to competing priorities. You will demonstrate a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism, with the ability to follow instructions, policies and procedures and work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
