
About the role
Mater Private Hospital Townsville is seeking a dedicated Allied Health Assistant to join our Allied Health team. This casual position offers flexibility with weekday shifts (Monday to Friday), typically from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and the potential for additional hours based on operational needs—including occasional weekend shifts. For the right candidate, there may also be opportunities for a permanent part-time role in the near future.
Our Allied Health team operate out of our Pimlico campus where you will work across both inpatient and outpatient patients as required. Inpatient caseload may include; orthopaedics, surgical, intensive care, cardiothoracic care, medical and women’s health.
Salary range: $34.87 - $36.55 per hour plus Casual Lading plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
