Allied Health Assistant | Blue Care | Noosa / Gympie Allied Health

  • Employment Term: Permanent Part Time, 3 days per week (Mon-Fri)

  • Location: Noosa/ Gympie Region

  • Remuneration: $36.31 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM’s) + Employee discounts + More

Your part in our Blue Care team

Working under the supervision of our Senior Allied Health Professionals, you will support the team with the delivery of Allied Health services and general running of the Allied Health department.

This is a great opportunity for those working towards a career as an Allied Health Professional. You will;

  • Provide quality client care under the clinical supervision of an Allied Health Professional,

  • Assist in the implementation of client care plans and programmes both individualised and group,

  • Identify and report client circumstances that require additional input from our Allied Health Professionals,

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of equipment and resources required for services & programme delivery, monitor, order and distribute offices supplies

  • Provide administrative support as requested

  • Address enquiries efficiently and effectively providing accurate information within the scope of the position or coordinating messages and referral to relevant staff

You'll be passionate about providing exceptional support to ensure our Allied Health Team can provide expert clinical treatment and therapies, making a real difference to the independence and lives of your clients! You will present with:

  • Cert III, Cert IV or equivalent in Allied Health Assistance

  • Massage qualifications (or a willingness to acquire) highly desirable

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build great relationships

  • Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team

  • Demonstrated understanding of client centred care services delivery for clients with long term health conditions, aged and people with disabilities

  • Good time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads

  • Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc

  • Current Australian drivers licence and roadworthy registered vehicle
