Alliance Manager, Endeavour Energy-267069

About the role

To ensure that services delivered to Endeavour Energy meet or exceed expectations; meet budget targets; drive continuous improvement initiatives and create a safe work environment. Responsible for all elements of delivery including transition, Alliance framework & structure, commercial & financial delivery, and people & safety.

This role will require you to work across multiple sites in Western Sydney.

Key responsibilities

  • To successfully transition the Alliance with clear expectations on delivery and timing from each Workstream including the Alliance Strategy, Commercial Agreement, Implementation Plan and Early Wins, Change Leadership, Systems Integration, HSE Management, People & Performance, and Industrial Relations

  • To continue to find opportunities to collaborate and grow the Alliance service offering broadly across Endeavour Energy business

  • Ensure that the Alliance financial performance achieves and exceeds budget targets

  • Drive and collate cost savings through business improvement initiatives that are a result of innovation and best practice framework

  • Utilise knowledge management processes to capture and communicate best practice and innovation from the Alliance to the wider Asset Services business

Strategy and Development

  • Develop and implement an annual business improvement RoadMap for the Alliance

  • Develop business capability in line with company strategies and growth expectations

  • Ensure effective communication structures are in place with the relevant stakeholders within UGL

  • Provide support in the collation of tenders and business development

Financial

  • Accountability for the achievement of profit and loss targets of the Alliance

  • Identify areas of the Alliance that could contribute to the improved financial performance of the contract and table at relevant meetings

People & Culture

  • Ensuring that all applicable procedures, standards of behavior and expectations are understood and adhered to by all team members

  • Lift the performance of the team by ensuring team members have the required knowledge, skills and tools to solve problems and produce the required outputs

Commercial & Risk

Understand the contract and have absolute clarity on rights and obligations

  • Comply with the on boarding and induction processes to ensure that all staff are aware of their rights and obligations of the contract

  • Maintain a risk register for the Alliance that is reviewed monthly and plans to reduce residual risk

  • Ensure that risk assessments are undertaken where changes to plant, people or processes are required, as per risk management procedures

Business Improvement

  • Encourage and lead the innovation process within the contract

  • Develop and implement a “rewards and recognition” scheme for the contract

  • Develop mechanisms to share Lessons Learnt across the Asset Services division

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in an Operations Manager role in in the Power distribution industry, ideally with Alliance experience

  • Demonstrated experience in business improvement, using Lean Management techniques and tools

  • Demonstrated experience and ability to create productive and influential relationships with managers, individuals and teams

  • Strong project planning skills and ability to design, implement, and facilitate successful and innovative talent development initiatives and programs.
