Job Description

Monmouth University is seeking applications for temporary All Sports Camp Counselors in the Athletics department. This is a recreational, non-competitive sports camp for youth between the ages of 5 and 13 years old.

Counselors will focus on developing sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership through the participation in multiple sports. Activities change throughout the day.

Camp will run for 6 weeks from June 29 – August 7, 2026. Hours are 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.

This is an on-campus; in-person; non-remote position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train youth participants in all aspects of various sports such as soccer, basketball, etc.,; supervise youth during lunch and restroom breaks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Background in athletics and coaching or playing experience.
• Good communication skills.

Special Instructions for Applicants:

• Counselors under the age of 18 will be required to submit Working Papers
• Counselors over the age of 18 are required to pass a background check.
• Counselors are required to complete mandatory compliance trainings prior to working.
