We are currently seeking a Casual All-Rounder (Reception, Housekeeping & Grounds/Maintenance) to join our team.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated, practical and guest-focused Casual All-Rounder to work across Reception, Housekeeping and Grounds & Maintenance at Northam Holiday Park.

This is a genuinely varied, hands-on role where you'll work across all three areas depending on the operational needs of the park. You'll help ensure our cabins and facilities are clean, comfortable and presented to a high standard, provide friendly and efficient service to guests at reception, and assist with maintaining the park's grounds, facilities and recreational areas.

The role includes weekend work and requires availability across a 7-day rotating roster, with shifts and hours varying based on business needs. From time to time, you may also be required to participate in an on-call roster to assist with after-hours guest enquiries or operational matters.

Responsibilities

Housekeeping

• Clean and present guest cabins and accommodation to a high standard
• Clean bathrooms, amenities, camp kitchens and shared facilities
• Restock linen, toiletries, cleaning products and guest supplies as required
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of communal and recreational areas
• Identify and report maintenance or safety issues to management
• Support the overall presentation and cleanliness of the park

Reception

• Welcome guests and manage check-in and check-out processes
• Manage reservations, guest enquiries and telephone calls
• Process payments and undertake cash handling duties
• Provide local area information and deliver friendly, professional guest service
• Complete general reception and administrative tasks
• Assist with after-hours guest enquiries when participating in the on-call roster

Grounds & Maintenance

• Maintain lawns, gardens and landscaped areas, including mowing, edging and weeding
• Complete general grounds upkeep and help maintain the overall presentation of the park
• Undertake minor repairs and general maintenance within the scope of the role
• Assist with basic pool maintenance, including water testing, cleaning filters and maintaining pool surrounds
• Operate basic grounds and maintenance tools and equipment safely
• Assist with rubbish removal and maintaining clean and tidy outdoor and communal areas
• Identify and report maintenance, safety or equipment issues to management
• Assist with the upkeep and presentation of park facilities and recreational areas

As an All-Rounder, you'll be expected to work across Reception, Housekeeping and Grounds & Maintenance depending on the operational needs of the park. Flexibility and a willingness to undertake a variety of hands-on duties across all three areas are essential to the role.

ABOUT YOU

To thrive in this role, you'll bring:

• Previous experience in a holiday park, hotel or hospitality environment (preferred)
• A willingness to undertake reception, hands-on housekeeping and grounds and maintenance duties as core parts of the role
• Experience using reservation systems (RMS experience highly regarded, but training can be provided)
• Previous grounds, maintenance or general handyman experience will be highly regarded
• Confidence using basic hand tools and grounds maintenance equipment
• Experience with basic pool maintenance and water testing will be highly regarded, but training can be provided
• A friendly, positive and guest-focused attitude
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• A practical, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail
• Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• The ability to undertake the physical and outdoor duties associated with the role
• Excellent personal presentation and reliability
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, and participate in an on-call roster as required
• Availability for an immediate start will be highly regarded

Remuneration

The rate of pay for this role will be in accordance with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award.
