Lake Taupo Holiday Resort is a 5-minute drive from Taupo town centre and a 10-minute drive from Huka Falls. We provide New Zealand’s only swim-up bar & café with thermally heated pools, water slides, giant movie screen and much more.

We are looking for Part-Time and Casual All-Rounders to join our team!

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will work across key operational areas to ensure the resort is welcoming, well maintained, and guest ready. Responsibilities include:

Guest Services & Reception

  • Providing friendly, professional service during check ins, check outs, and guest enquiries.
  • Managing reservations, payments, and general reception operations.
  • Maintaining tidy, well presented reception and shop areas.

Bar, Café & Poolside

  • Preparing and serving food and beverages, following responsible service guidelines.
  • Supporting event setup, service, and pack down.
  • Ensuring bar, café, pool and hydro slide areas are clean, safe, and well presented.

Housekeeping

  • Cleaning and servicing guest rooms and common areas to a high standard.
  • Preparing cabins for arrivals and assisting with laundry as required.

Grounds & Amenities

  • Maintaining gardens, pathways, amenities, and shared spaces.
  • Ensuring outdoor areas are tidy, safe, and visually appealing.
  • Monitoring safety, behaviour, and site access.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in grounds or garden maintenance, equipment use, or pool upkeep
  • Strong housekeeping skills and attention to detail
  • Previous cash handling experience
  • A current driver’s licence
  • Good initiative, personal presentation, and the ability to work independently or in a team
  • Commitment to safe work practices
