Opal Caravan Park, located in the historic opal mining town of Lightning Ridge and voted the #1 place to stay in town, is currently looking for a Housekeeper to join our team.

We are currently looking for Tourist Park All Rounder Couple to cover various functions at our park, including Front Office Reception, Housekeeping, and Grounds & Maintenance. Live on site is available at a reduced staff rate.

Our ideal candidates has:

• Experience in the holiday park/hotel/hospitality industry in a similar role
• Reservation System Experience e.g., RMS preferable, although training will be provided for the successful applicant
• Customer Service Experience
• Hands on participation in the cleaning of all buildings and accommodation areas as directed by management
• Be able to work unsupervised, and as part of a team
• High level of communication and written skills
• Cash handling experience
• Broad level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent personal presentation with a friendly disposition
• Enjoys a varied role and is happy to assist as required.

You will be competent in the use of items such as:

• Ride on mowers
• Hedge trimmers
• Whipper snippers
• Chainsaws
• High powered hand tools.
• Have a willingness to carry out various tasks as required
• Available to be rostered over a 7-day rotating roster including weekends (days/times will vary each week)
• Be available for an immediate start
