Prime Inc. in Pittston, PA is looking for an alignment technician to join our day shift team.
Responsible for the safe operation of aligning all equipment in the shop by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
· Align and check balance on steers on all new trucks
· Complete truck alignments on appointment lists
· Change tires, if needed
· Locate trucks on yard and drive truck to shop, if needed
· Communicate with customers and drivers about tires and reasons behind certain wear patterns
· Provide excellent customer service to drivers and customers
· Keep work station free of clutter
Shifts needed:
Wednesday through Saturday 6am-6pm (every other Wednesday off)

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Knowledge
Prior alignment experience is a plus.
Abilities
Must have a strong work history. Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends required.
Experience, Education, and Training
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements
This position requires constant standing, handling, and forward reaching; frequent walking, head turning, bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, hand control and power gripping. Candidate must be able to lift 105lbs, carry 85lbs and push and pull 115lbs. Steel toed footwear, and safety glasses are required in the shop.
Interdepartmental Role Fulfillment
From time to time, it may be necessary for an associate to migrate from his or her permanently stationed department to another department as staffing needs require. Any time an associate performs tasks in department other than his or her permanently stationed department, the department supervisor shall verify that the associate meets all the job description requirements of the position which that associate interdepartmentally staffs on a temporary or otherwise semi-permanent basis.
Licensing/Certification
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from work.
