You will be a Team Lead in Mobileye's HLB algorithmic group, leading the functional and performance analysis of the technology.
The HLB group is responsible for various lighting applications, the most important being control of the host vehicle's high beams to maximize view range while avoiding glare of other road users. To achive this, the technology is required to detect vehicles at very large distances and poor lighting conditions, and correctly predict their motion and distance. The technology is also responsible for determining lighting conditions, spots-based object detection and Heads Up Display control.
The technology is highly dependent on advanced ML and vision algorithms, along with geometric understanding and physical understanding of the camera's behavior and properties. The validation processes require an understanding of these domains, along with deep analytical thinking and strong technical and data analysis capabilities.
In addition, a good working experience with GenAI is a big bonus, since various aspects of the work require defining processes that can be automated using agents, and insights may require coding, which could be sped-up considerably using GenAI.
